I liked the Detroit Lakes tri last year. Super short swim, fast bike, out-back run. But I don't think I will this year. There is a tri in Mandan, NoDak where the run is off-trail and includes running up, then down a switchback trail on a very tough butte. Did it 2-years back and loved it. Need to try it again. Same weekend as D.L.
