I'm A Slacker

I have really been slacking on the posts. Only like 3 people read this jibberish anyway. However, you two are important. Ok, its just me. I am the only one that reads my blog. Anyway, the New Year is here and training has started. I will try to be more diligent about posting misc crap and training stuff.

I did finally get in the pool last week--first time since mid September. After I screwed around for about 15 minutes I tried out some laps. I did two, then had to go back to screwing around. Then they had to drain and clean the pool cuz I threw up a lung. Just kidding.

Also, the Intro To Multisport course started at the RAC again. We have 10 signed up--two of the participants are repeats from last year. They joked that they have to retake it because they failed. That was good.

Later.

Mario - I do check out your blog. I met you last year at Winter Be Gone! duathlon but you probably don't recall me. I'm the dude that ended up riding the long course when I missed the turn-around. Anyway, I started my own blog now at: http://tundrat-zone.blogspot.com/ as I'm bored silly with the winter weather. I have added your blog as a "Fellow Triathlete" so now your daily readership should rocket from 3 readers to maybe 5!! Anyway, have a great off-season. I have signed up for WBG du again. Maybe I'll see you there.

Hi Mario- Bill here. I have read your posts and like your sense of humor. I have been very busy with event planning for 2009. We have 3 events we are currently registering for: Winter Begone! Duathlon, Rochesterfest Triathlon, and the Waseca Triathlon. Registrations are going very well for the Rochesterfest Triathlon. The duathlon is gradually picking up and the Waseca event I just put online 2 days ago. I am training indoors now pretty much 6 days per week, mostly bricks. I am motivated to be ready for the 70.3 Ironman in New Orleans by April 5th. I can't wait to head down there, will be fun. It is my little adventure alone so far. Wendy and the boys are going to be in Montana during that weekend, so I am taking advantage of the time. Call my nuts. Oh well, you only live once.

Adios!

Bill
