Nope, I didn't run in either of the Fetzer races. However, Jace did the 2 mile. This was the third year he did the 2 miler and the third time he won his AG. This year was his highest overall placing too--taking 4th overall of 53. The first two years he was in the 9 and under category. This year he was in the 10-14 AG. What was really cool was that all of the top 3 boys in the 10-14 AG were all 10 years old. Jace brought a friend with and he took 3rd -- and it was his first running race ever!
Jace wanted to beat his time of 13:33 from last year, but he came in at 14:05. However, the director said she has never really measured it so it could be off. I told her I would pre-run it and measure it out. I jogged 1 mile out, found a stray blank realty sign, set it in the road, then told the 2 mile bike pacer where it was. However, again, Jace said he didn't remember exactly, but thinks the turnaround was in about the same place as last year. Either way....

Just to mention it, the 12.43 mile (20 k) was won by Pete Gilman in a time of 1:06:20. RESULTS HERE.
