I just registered for the Chisago Half Iron. What have I done...? The longest tri I've competed in/finished is the olympic distance Rochesterfest Tri. I don't have the time to train to be very competitive in a half iron as I'm training the same amount as last year. I'm fine with that. I've always raced to be competitive in my AG so it will be nice to not put that pressure on myself and just enjoy racing for the fun of it. Don't get me wrong, racing is usually always fun, its just different when you are killing yourself for AG placing rather than just racing. With regards to how I am going to do it with the time I have, that's another story. I am going to have to move, shift, and adjust how I train in order to make it thru the half.
