This time of year can be busy and slow... Busy because of the holidays, but slow for training--at least for me. Maybe that's just an excuse. I was trying to stay on the Insanity training plan, but as soon as it ramped up, I wimped out. The first day after the R&R week (which for me was Nov 14) they hit you with a Fit Test that takes about 25 minutes, then the regular workout for that day is 59 minutes. The plan is set up to do them one after the other. That's 1 hour and 24 minutes of high-intensity jumps, squats, push-ups, etc. I made it till about 1 hour 5 minutes then called it quits. I maid it thru a couple more days of that week, cutting one workout short, then did the Recovery workout and had to cut that short. I was too tired and needed some rest for the Turkey Trot 5k on the 19th. I decided to re-do that week starting on Nov 21. It went better. I did 5 of the 6 workouts. Three weeks of Insanity to go. The last two weeks of training are below.
