Seriously, can someone please tell me how gnats fit into the food chain--other than feeding on us.  Last night I went for a ride and within about a half hour I was a little damp so after going thru a couple clouds of gnats, my arms, shoulders, neck and face looked like I was sprinkled with black pepper.  What the ...
