IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP and Rochester, MN Competitor

For the most part, the multisport and bike racing season in MN has come to an end--except for CX (click THIS for what that is, and this for CX in MN).

Anyway, on to the topic at hand...

The Ironman World Championships take place in Kona, Hawaii, this weekend. Although it won't be aired on TV until December, you can follow the race live on Saturday via their website. Experts say this years race is supposed to be the most competitive in a while, if not in the races history. Follow it here: http://ironman.com/worldchampionship

Alex Hooke, 2010 RochesterFest Olympic Triathlon winner, will be contending for his AG in Kona. Go to www.minnesotatrinews.com to read an interview with Alex.
